The rules for using SIIQ, the sports intelligence platform your school or academy uses to record and plan pupils’ sport.

Who we are

SIIQ is provided by [Company legal name — to be confirmed], registered at [Registered address — to be confirmed].

SIIQ helps schools and academies measure pupils, keep the evidence together, and allocate each pupil a sport with the reasoning attached.

How you get an account

There is no public sign-up. SIIQ sets up your school and invites one administrator. Every other account is created by somebody already inside the school inviting you.

Opening the invitation link sent to your email address shows that the address is yours. Keep your password and any sign-in codes to yourself.

Pupils may sign in with an access code printed on a paper slip given to them by the school.

What you can see

What you can see depends on your role. Examples:

  • A coach sees only the pupils assigned to them.
  • A parent or guardian sees their own child’s record.
  • A county or national body sees counts, not individual pupils, unless SIIQ has deliberately turned on pupil-level access for it.
  • Nobody at one school can see another school’s data.

Using SIIQ properly

Use SIIQ only for your school’s sport and physical education work. Do not try to reach records your role does not give you, and do not share what you see outside the purpose it was recorded for.

Nothing can be recorded against a pupil whose parent or guardian has not given consent. The pupil still appears in lists, marked as awaiting consent.

When SIIQ staff look at your school

To help with a support request, SIIQ staff may view a school’s records. They cannot change them, every access is logged, and a banner tells the school while somebody from SIIQ is looking.

When a school stops using SIIQ

The proposed arrangement, still awaiting sign-off, is that a school keeps read-only access for 90 days after its contract ends and can export everything in that time. See the privacy notice for how long data is then kept.
